I first read about this story on Inman's blog.A realtor in Edmonton, Canada is trying a different stratagem in order to sell his client's property.
He is reducing the price of the house by $1,000 each day until it is sold. And if someone decides to buy it by September 10, with stipulations, the seller is throwing in a $10,000 home theater package. The countdown auction began September 1.
This is a great idea by the agent for a real estate market that has a glut of properties for sale. And isn't that what our realtors do for us everyday? They work hard to get our houses sold.
