The Eye-Fi Wireless SD Card is Here

By:

One of my fellow gadget-loving friends brought this cool gadget to my attention recently. There is a new SD photo memory card called the Eye-Fi that will not only save your pictures on the card but also automatically upload the pictures you take to one of eighteen photo services. How cool is that!
Built-in Wi-Fi connects to your home network, provides free and unlimited photo uploads to your computer or to any of your favorite photo website such as Fotki, Shutterfly, dotPhoto, webshots, phanfare, Picasa Web albums, flickr, TypePad, Wal-Mart, snapfish, VOX, smugmug, facebook, photobucket, Kodak Gallery, and more.
These photo transmissions are secure as well as private. The SD card can handle full-resolution jpeg images and is so intelligent that it will re-size photos if limited by your chosen photo or social networking website. It fits digital cameras that use SD memory cards and offers 2 GB of memory to store photos on the card as well.
This SD card can work wonders for real estate agents. They can take pictures and have them instantly load up online to a file sharing website as long as they are within range of a wireless network. If not, the pictures are stored on the SD card.
This could also help the potential home buyer. He really wants to buy a house, but his wife is not with him. She can’t be there, but they can look at the house, but they can look at the house together. He will upload the pics as he is in the house, and then she can in turn view the house right along with him.
It can be used for tons of other things as well but is great for those who are on the go. I love this!
And I am sure that Eye-Fi has designs on making the software available on a compact Flash card soon.
I am excited about the future for this little gadget. Its time has come.

Brian Copeland is a prominent realtor in the Nashville, TN area, and if there is one thing he does well, it is video. He has been a real estate agent since June 2005 and was voted Rookie of the Year for 2006. He was booming right out of the gate. He finished his first year of real estate with 62 ½ transactions. Wow!
Brian comes from the music industry and taken a number of ideas from his prior career. One of those ideas is the creative use of video. It has propelled his business into a different stratosphere.
You can also check him out on The Learning Channel television show, "Flip That House".
